So — have been messing about with this thing for about a few months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually a bit daft — I never could figure out what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at how to calculate each way bets and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that actually made a difference was the geekier bits. They’ve got an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. The interface feels pretty plain — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Right — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here acca odds — free, no signup.

The thing that really shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. The probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its interface looks very functional, let’s say — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
